Regenerator Zabok Urban Culture Center

The Regenerator Zabok Urban Culture Center is a vibrant hub for contemporary culture and community life in Zabok, Croatia. Housed in a repurposed textile factory, the center blends the town’s industrial heritage with a modern vision for urban creativity. Managed by the Regenerator Association and designed by MVA – Mikelić Vreš Architects, the facility covers 2,200 square meters and features three main areas: Regenerator, Silos, and Inkubator. These spaces operate both independently and together, supporting a wide range of cultural, educational, and social activities.

Visitors to the center can experience everything from art exhibitions and music performances to workshops and community events. The venue includes two stages, a music studio, and accommodations for performers, with the club area able to host up to 500 guests. The gallery and town library regularly hold events and exhibitions, making the center a key destination for both locals and travelers interested in the region’s creative scene.

Zabok itself is known for its rich history, dating back to its founding by King Charles I, and the Regenerator Center plays a central role in the town’s ongoing cultural development. Annual events such as the HGF music festival, the international children’s film festival KiKi, and the Days of Ksaver Šandor Gjalski highlight the center’s dynamic programming.
