Varaždin City Museum (in Stari Grad Castle)

The Varaždin City Museum, housed within the historic Stari Grad Castle complex, offers visitors a comprehensive look at the region’s rich heritage. Formally opened on November 16, 1925, and founded by the Varaždin Museum Society, the institution has grown from a small collection of local gifts into a major cultural center.
